Who is Rachel ?….and why is the store A Little Bit of Rachel named after her?
Rachel was my mother and best friend who passed away from cancer at Mass General Hospital, Boston, February 6, 2005. My dad (Fred) subsequently passed away the following year, having been with her for 50 years, on May 4, 2006.
A Little Bit Of Rachel
The store, Rachel Girl, became a solution to a problem for me. Left as an only child to sort through the many treasures my mother had collected in her fashion passion, time capsule treasure trove I knew existed in the attic, a store in honor of her memory as a tribute seemed like an idea with dignity. Yard sales from hell just didn’t work. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve made enormous donations to: Lazarus House Homeless Shelters, Daughters of Charity, Salvation Army and Project Care, along with free for friends and any good home anywhere. Even with that, mom had some vintage dresses and retro clothing that are treasures. These items are so rare and well taken care of they deserved good homes….that would be you….
Women's Clothing
If you, or someone you know, love rare vintage clothing and retro clothing, spread the word. Mom had a great collection of vintage dresses that have been kept in beautiful condition. Her collection includes:- retro clothing 1950's

I’d would like believe there are more “Rachel Girls” out there who will find and cherish her personal shopping style so she can live on through you. I've set up an online woman's clothing store for you to enjoy and perhaps find that retro blouse, vintage dress or vintage retro jewelry you have been searching for.
Vintage Costume Jewelry
It’s not just about the clothes, it’s about Rachel and everything she exemplified as my mom and very best friend. Rachel had class, fun, feminine zeal for life, and she appreciated the smallest to the greatest moments. My mom's vintage clothing, retro style and vintage costume jewelry are all reflections of her inner and outer beauty; and I'm LOOKING FOR GOOD HOMES to carry on this love for vintage fashion.
